Explore Heritage & Culture With Me - City Palace Udaipur Hotels

Hello, readers and welcome back to my blog. I work as an insurance agent and in my spare time, I enjoy travelling. For me, travelling has to be a blend of variety. Sometimes I like travelling to crowded places whereas sometimes I prefer absolute silence. Similarly, sometimes I like to visit modern places whereas sometimes I prefer visiting places filled with heritage and culture.

This time, it was history and culture for me. I decided to visit the City Palace in Udaipur. I have often heard stories about Bada Mahal and Amar Vilas, which are situated in the City Palace complex, since my childhood. Also, the palaces of 11 separate rulers sit together in this sprawling complex that was started in 1559.  As it is considered as one of the architectural marvels of Rajasthan, my excitement to explore this place was sky high. For my sojourn, I narrowed my choices down to two from the numerous choices of City Palace Udaipur hotels. I shall share their notable features with you before telling you my final decision.
