My ardent desire to observe legacy led me to an exciting encounter with the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya
Manav Sangrahalaya. Every sub-division of the museum found my interests glued to it, be it Archeology, Architecture, Relics and Human existence. The laureate collections from various human
resources and artistic works together resembling rich humanitarian importance grabbed my attention immediately. Habitats and civilizations were beautifully portrayed in this hall of fame.
I was glad that there was a shower of luck on my side when I found out that we had luckily come here on a Wednesday or if it was a Monday the museum would have been closed. It is open all days a week including Sunday and they close on Monday .The entry tickets were also very nominal as they charged only 10 Rs for adults and 5 Rs for children.
Right from desert village to Mountain village the majestic walls of this museum had every single detail engrossed in it. Depicting the story of
mankind this museum is spread across 200 acres. Surprisingly my little one also could find a lot of information coupled with entertainment because of this visit.
Though a holiday is the vitamin to boost us after a long spell of work, we also were bent on achieving certain benefits apart from just fun. This fact stood good to all it’s worth after we visited this museum. It was a beautiful peek into the history of Bhopal.
We were all ravenously hungry after the long tour inside the museum. After satiating our heart and soul with the golden history of Bhopal, we decided to take care of our growling stomachs too!
Believe me I was on cloud nine after managing to find a restaurant called Winds and Waves. We sat outdoors watching the speed boats and the awe-inspiring views of the Upper Lake. Tasty food which was relishing from the first bite to the last bite served to be another important factor to queue in my interest to this eatery! A great day that ended on a very happy note too!
