The next place to be visited in our travel plan was the Sisodia Rani Bagh Jaipur. Situated at a distance of 6 kilometres from Jaipur city the Sisodia palace was erected by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in the year 1779.The palace and the garden derive its name, from the Rani Sisodia for whom the palace was built.

The Sisodia Rani Baugh Jaipur consists of multilevel gardens adorned with fountains and painted gazebos. The
double storey palace occupies the pinnacle porch in the garden. The palace has scores of galleries, flowers and attractive murals depicting stories from the time of Lord Krishna. The paintings
and the narratives detail the stories of eternal love between Lord Krishna and Radha. It suits the essence of the mural garden which in itself is an emblem of love. These splendid gardens are
filled with flowers, fertile green foliage, water fountains, pavilions, balconies, free flowing water channels and last but not the least murals. It is said that the Sisodia Rani Baugh Jaipur
used to be an ideal getaway for Rani Sisodia and she spent most of the time adoring the flowers and the beauty of the gardens.

The stories behind the palace and the garden make it an attention-grabbing tourist spot. Additionally, it also
plays role of an oasis in the dry sands of pink city, Jaipur. The palace has also featured in a number of bollywood movies such as ‘Lamhe’, and also a song sequence from the same movie was
pictured in the palace. We roamed about through the garden clicking pictures with every colourful flower as my wife likes it, and playing around with my son.

The garden is also rented by elite families to carry out family functions, like weddings, receptions and other
ceremonies. Utmost care must be taken by these families to keep the park clean and to maintain the sanctity of that place. The garden has created a special place in our hearts. We left the garden
and palace bidding a goodbye to eternal love stories but they still remain fresh in our minds. Sisodia Rani Bagh Jaipur is a must visit spot for the travellers that land in
