Be consistent

No matter how many hours you devote for your Yoga sessions at home, no matter what asanas you plan to do, I would suggest you to be consistent. Practice the same asanas over and over again as the process of repetition matters a lot.

Set a timeframe

There is no point in spending 45 minutes one day for yoga and the next day you wrap it up in just 15 minutes. Set a timeframe, a proper goal - and time your yoga sessions.

Give yoga a priority

The key point is to concentrate and prioritize your yoga sessions. Even if you devote 15 minutes to asanas daily, give them a priority. Also, look for a cleaner spot which exudes positivity and clarity.

Let yourself settle down

Merely doing some asanas for 15 minutes at a stretch is not at all helpful. Just give your body some time to settle down, breathe in and out as much as you can. Longer and deeper you breathe, higher are your concentration levels.

Go Upside down!

I know its not possible for everyone, but hey, one can always try. Standing on your head is the best exercise ever. I make it a point to do this particular asana for at least 3 minutes, as it improves blood circulation levels.

Now that you have learned the key points for a successful home yoga practice, I hope your sessions would be smoother and more enjoyable.
